Born and raised in the village of Pereni, Hâncești, Mr. Nicolae Tronciu comes from a family of winegrowers and winemakers, Mr. Nicolae's grandfather and father also dedicated their lives to this noble profession. In particular, his grandfather Odajiu, managed to bring the best grapes from abroad and began to multiply them here in Moldova. He became the main mentor and passed on all the knowledge to his descendants.
Now Mr. Tronchu has a dream - to open his new tasting room for visitors as soon as possible and plant new local grape varieties. And most of all, he wants his family to return home and that he pass on to his descendants all the secrets of production of Tronciu Wines. Valentina and Nicolae Tronciu are waiting for you at the winery, to enjoy every drop of wine, in which they have invested a lot of work and dedication.

In 1997 he founded the Tronciu farm, and in 2009-2010 he planted his own vine. Annually, Tronciu Winery produces up to 10,000 bottles of wine from 5 grape varieties. Nicolae Tronciu's wines are made with passion, first for family, friends, neighbors - those who know how to appreciate a wine created from the effort of a modest and honest man. This special character is felt in every bottle of wine. Recently, the winery also started the process of obtaining the ecological certificate for its wines.
Upon request, accommodation can be arranged in one of the rural houses in the village of Pereni.
