Barza Albă – Tradition and Excellence in Moldovan Brandy Production
Established in 1944, Barza Albă Winery in Bălți is a symbol of Moldova's rich winemaking traditions. Over the past 70 years, the company has become a leader in premium alcoholic beverage production, recognized internationally. In 2000, Barza Albă was restructured as a joint-stock company, now collaborating with top distributors and exporting to over 30 countries, including Australia, the USA, Germany, Russia, and China.
Barza Albă is renowned for its award-winning brandies, such as "Belîi Aist," "Bălți," "Speranța," "Bucuria," "Codru," and "Prezident," which have won more than 150 international medals, including 80 gold and 10 Grand Prix awards. A dedicated team of around 200 professionals ensures the continuation of quality, with each bottle reflecting the passion and expertise of generations of winemakers.
Visitors can explore the winery's fascinating history through guided tours and themed tastings, often led by the company’s chief technologist. Guests will enjoy refined selections of premium brandies and discover the intricate production process behind these iconic beverages.
Guests can visit the Winery only with prior confirmed reservations. Prices are per person and do not include transport from Chișinău to the winery. Upon request, transportation can be arranged for an additional cost, ensuring a hassle-free journey to the winery.
