The world’s biggest wine collection is located in a small village called Milestii Mici, in Republic of Moldova. It is a real underground wine city, which stretches as far as 250 kilometers. The cellar complex is a maze, where streets are named after various types of wine which include Sauvignon, Cabernet, etc. A car is needed to drive from one part of the winery to the other, and the cellar’s own employees use a bike to travel within the winery. The winery "Milestii Mici" invites us, on August 27, to celebrate the Open Doors Day at the Winery.
Milestii Mici underground galleries are located at a depth of up to 85 m and is the largest network of underground galleries and the largest wine collection in the world. This fact has been documented officially by The Guinness Book of World Records in 2005. The underground network of roads from Milestii Mici has more than 200 kilometers, more than 50 km of wine galleries, over 2 million bottles of wine, some dating back to 1968.

On January 28, 2017, the winery "Milestii Mici" invites you to retrieve the holy treasure in its cellars, at the winter festival "The Wine Citadel – the past and the present".
You are invited to enjoy traditional dishes, paired with mulled wine, to enjoy Moldovan and Balkan folk music.
The official opening of the festival is scheduled for 12.00.
The ticket price is only 150 lei / person and includes free transfer from Chisinau, a winery tour, a souvenir-gift and many positive emotions.
