It is no longer a novelty for us to hold conferences and meetings online, that is why the appearance of the online wine tasting service is a logical continuation of the Gustos.Life’s activity. You probably remember Gustos.Life from the wine vernissages held in Chisinau, the platform that allowed us to appreciate and vote for our favorite wine.
It seems that Gustos.Life, in the context of the pandemic and social distancing, comes with an alternative solution for winelovers eager to communicate, to learn and to taste new wine releases. The virtual tastings take place on Zoom. Various experts guide you during the tasting and offer valuable information about the wine you taste! To participate in such a tasting, you will need a stable internet connection, a computer or smartphone.
The process is quite simple:
1. Go to https://onlinetastings.gustos.life/
2. Choose the tasting from the events calendar
3. Select the type of participation, there are three options:
- participation without ordering samples (if you already have these wines at home)
- participation with delivery of samples in 250 ml jars (suitable for those who participate alone in the event)
- participation with delivery of whole bottles 750 ml (suitable for those who participate with the whole family)
4. Pay online, indicate the delivery address, and wait for the day of the event
If you are a smaller group or a family of winelovers, this activity seems to be quite reasonable in price and concept. So far, there have been 3 online tastings, attended by over 15 people per event. For the most part, participants prefer to be given samples of 250 ml. Another two events are planned this week, with the participation of Mr. Nicolae Luca, founder of the Sommelier School of Moldova and Mr. Eugeniu Sirbu, Sommelier of Nobilita del Gusto.
