Hospitality, tradition and unique experiences - all you these you will find at the guesthouse "Vatra Strămoșească", meaning ancestral hearth. The owner has transformed the family house, one of the oldest houses of the village, into a real museum.
The house itslef is an architectural monument going back to early part of the XIX c. Historic furnishings and objects are displayed. Visitors will learn about the lifestyle of the moldovan families in XVI-XVIII c. Guests also visit the the traditional cellar, taste the home made wine paired with traditional placinte and snacks. For large groups, depending on weather conditions can be arranged a masterclass on woodcraft.
