Tiraspol is the capital of the so-called Pridnestrovian Moldovan Republic. Known by foreign travelers as the museum in the open-air of Communism and Soviet Union, with many Soviet relics on the main streets of its industrial towns and also for being a state that does not exist. No other nation recognizes Transnistria as a country. You will feel that you are back in the USSR.
The Noul-Neamts Monastery was founded in 1861. The monastery is the home of many holy relics. Guests will visit the church workshop and crafts shop.
Lunch will be served by the monastery with food & wine prepared by the monks (available for larger groups).
Visit of the Medieval fortress from Bender town, which now serves as the base of the 14th Russian army (entrance fee not included).
