Wine Vernissage - a magical edition

On December 15, 2016 The Wine Vernissage will bring together all wine enthusiasts at the traditional winter event, the eleventh edition, dubbed " Magic Vernissage". The Magic edition of the Wine Vernissage will take place in an atmosphere of art, with theatrical scenery, living statues, mimes and jugglers, the sound of music from the ballet "The Nutcracker", at the Palace of the Republic, located at the address: Maria Cebotari str. 16, Chisinau.

The event will offer to the public a diverse cultural program and tastings of hundreds of select wines, typical for the season - red, dessert and sparkling wines, presented by wineries producing premium wines, united under one single country brand – Wine of Moldova. At the event will exhibit a record number of wineries - 35, while the program will include, in addition to the tasting will also include recommendations of professionals and tutorials on the art of wine.

At the Magic Vernissage every visitor will be able to vote for  his favorite wine offered for tasting. The most popular will be awarded with the traditional winter trophies "Vernisaj în Roşu" and "Vernisaj Efervescent". In addition, the title of "Knight of Wine Vernissage" will be assigned to one of the professionals for their significant contribution to the development and promotion of the wine sector.

All visitors of the event will receive a free glass of «Wine of Moldova», perfect for discovering and properly enjoy the taste and aroma of fine wines, and a brochure for the tasting notes. About the Wine Vernissage

Vernissage Wine is a high-level event, dedicated to the promotion of culture and consumption of quality wine in Republic of Moldova, under the aegis of the country brand "Wine of Moldova. A legend alive”. The first event was organized in 2011 and traditionally takes place two times a year, in winter and spring. The Wine Vernissage has the following objectives: to stimulate the domestic market of quality wines produced in Moldova, to improve the consumption culture of quality wine, as well as offering a communication platform between winemakers and consumers, where new produt and trends are launched. The Wine Vernissage is organized by the National Office of Vine and Wine and the Association of Wines Producers and Exporters, with the support of the strategic partner, USAID Competitiveness Project.
