The first Moldovan Castle, located in Bulboaca, Anenii Noi, it will be open to the public on 17th of September 2016, as a result of largest restoration works in the recent history of Moldova.
The castle was founded in 1893 by Constantin Mimi, the last governor of Bessarabia and a great winemaker of his time.
Several decades, Constantin Mimi's property was hidden from the world. Only in 2010, as part of routine work, workers removed the cladding of building, discovering a true architectural gem. Then it was decided to restore fundamentally the castle, cellars and underground galleries were rediscovered. 100 years later, the Castle Mimi is living its second life.
The opening ceremony of the Castle Mimi will be accompanied by live music. The legendary band МАШИНА ВРЕМЕНИ from Russia will perform on September 17 at Castel Mimi. On the stage at Castle Mimi will perform as well the following artists and bands: Alternosfera, Vali Boghean, Moldovan National Youth Orchestra, Brio Sonores, Aura and Vitalie Dani.

The opening of the Mimi Castle will take place on September 17, 2016, 13:00 in village Bulboaca (about 35 km from Chisinau). Organizers expect about 8,000 guests and put on sale the following categories of tickets:
Starting with August 11 - 100 lei (first 500 tickets only online iticket.md).
August 22 to September 11 (inclusive) - 200 lei.
12-16 September (including) - 250 lei.
September 17 (the day of the event) - 300 lei (at the entrance).
VIP - 2,000 lei ("Bisconcert" starting with August 22). VIP ticket holders will be treated with wine & snacks, and will have preferential access to a number of facilities such as separate entrance, separate parking and other commodities.
